hint: it gets its name due to its shape
Happy Monday!! It's a super nice day out. The sun is out. I'm feeling warm and fuzzy. And like most of you, I'm very much looking forward to Spring and all the joy it brings! Ever since we had the daylight savings change yesterday, I have been noticing that the days are brighter and longer. People are in good moods. It's a nice!

Anyways, here's the hint for the day:

looks ordinary
but when it is simply sliced,
its true beauty shows!

What is it??

Photo #365 Revealed

It was a model car.
This one came pre-assembled, but you can get model car kits to build your own. It's like a hobby or something...remember those?  It seems like people these days spend more time on their computers, phones, and other digital devices than actually hobbies. Kind of a shame, if you ask me...

Hint: it comes in a box
It's Friday! I'm in a good mood today! There may be still snow on the ground, but it's warm out. People are happy and especially friendly. Warm weather tends to bring out the best in people, I find. What do you think? I'm definitely looking forward to Spring. And I want to buy some new clothes. There are so many cute clothes in the stores right now. I need some more colour in my wardrobe.

Anyway, here's the hint for the thingamajig of the day:

fun and challenging!
it's like a jigsaw puzzle
each piece fits somewhere

What is it?

Photo #364 Revealed

It was an ink stamp.
Look at the birdie! Isn't it cute?

Hint: could be made of plastic, wood, or foam
Hello, out there! Anyone out there? Where are my readers at? I guess people have started losing interest in my blog. I have been losing followers and page views, which makes me sad. On the other hand, maybe people just don't have the time to visit my blog. Or maybe they all moved to some remote place with no Internet access. In any case, I do appreciate the handful of loyal bloggers who visit my blog almost on a daily basis! I appreciate your support and encouragement. What would I do without you? You are the reason I still continue to blog.

Anyway, here's the haiku hint for the day:

starts off as a block
ends up as a work of art
at least I think so...

What is it?

Photo #363 Revealed

It was a pair of jeans.
I thought that because blue jeans are so common, that this would have been an easy one. I guess I was wrong.

Hint: it also comes in other colours
Well, hello there! Fancy meeting you here! Come here often? LOL. I wonder if that pick-up line ever works? Have you ever tried using that line? Did you end up getting a date? I always laugh when people try to use that line. There's some inherently funny about using pick up lines. No how clever people try to be, it almost always comes off as cheesy! I say forget about using pick up lines and start with a simple smile and a sincere "hello."

Anyways, what am I doing giving dating advice on this blog? This is not that kinda blog. Let's get back to today's thingamajig. Here is your haiku hint of the day:

no need for a hint
this one is easy as pie
you know what this is!

What is today's thingamajig?

Photo #362 Revealed

It was a basket.

Hint: available in many colours, shapes and sizes
Hey there! Hope you are having a good weekend so far. Can you believe it's March already?? Where does all the time go? I can't believe that it's been over one year since I've started this blog. Yet, I don't feel like a professional blogger. There's still a lot for me to learn, especially how to get more page views and followers. And for someone who has been blogging for so long, it's not easy for me to stay motivated. I can understand why people just stop blogging and disappear altogether. I'm a bit surprised that I've somehow manage to get this far. Let's see if I can continue with this blog for another year...

Anyway, here's the hint for today's thingamajig:

they're often hand made
by talented artisans
with nimble fingers

What is it?

Photo #361 Revealed

It was a cinnamon bun/roll.
This one was home-made!

Hint: a reason to leap for joy?
Hey there! Today is a special day! It's so special it only comes around once every 4 years! In case, you forgot or something, it's Leap year! It's a great excuse to have a party, or at least get a drink. But sadly, I don't really "party" or drink. Maybe I'll try my luck at the casino or just buy a lotto ticket. Wish me luck? Do you have any plans to celebrate Leap Year?

Anyway, here's a hint for today's thingamajig:

it is best served warm
that melt-in-your-mouth goodness
know what I'm saying?

What is it?

It was a newspaper.
Remember those?

Hint: might make you laugh?
Hello, my loyal fans! It's so nice of you to visit me today. Hope you are having a good day so far. I'm still feeling under the weather today. But no need to worry about me. I'm drinking lots of fluids and getting lots of rest! I hope to feel better soon, though. Being sick isn't fun.

Anyway, since it's "Two-sday," this photo is worth 2 points!

you need a challenge
I've been too easy on you
no more hints for you!

What is it?

Photo #359 Revealed

A masterpiece awaits you. Just add water!

Hint: can be bought at the dollar store...
Well, hello there! Hope you all had a better weekend than me. I spent most of mine shovelling snow from my sidewalk and driveway. It was snow fun, but someone had to do it. But now I have a cold. My nose is all runny and red. There's a tickle in my throat. I feel gross. I just want to stay in bed all day, watch sappy chick flicks and drink hot lemon-honey tea. What comforts you when you are sick?

Anyway, here's today's haiku hint:

multiple colours
endless possibilities
where do I begin?

What is it?

Enjoy the rest of your day. And don't forget to eat some fruits and veggies...

Photo #358 Revealed

It was a portable grill.
Great for roasting marshmallows!

Hint: not something you want to leave unattended

It's Friday! Fry-day!?! An excuse to eat something deep fried? You know you want to. I kinda have a craving for some sweet potato fries! It might even make me forget about how cold it is here. It looks like winter is here a little while longer. There is a snowfall warning. We are supposed to get a ton of snow in the next few days. After all the warm, nice, spring-like weather we have been having, I was hoping spring would come early. But hey, where I live, the weather is always unpredictable...but it's a good conversation starter! A pick-up line, perhaps? ;)

Anyways, here's the haiku hint for the thingamajig:

must keep a close watch
don't want it to lose control
safety first, ok?

What is it?

Have a great weekend!

It's not that kind of party...

It's Friday. Let's start the weekend with some laughs. This was one of my favourite Superbowl commercials this year.  It makes me laugh every time I watch it. If you haven't seen it, you need to.

And don't forget to eat some chocolate today. It will make your day!

Photo #357 Revealed

It was a radish.
Did you know that radishes are a fast growing crop? Once you have planted the seed, wait about 25 days and you will have some fresh radish for your salad!

Hint: also comes in white
Hey there! I'm still around. Do I still have readers out there? Did you miss me? I apologize for missing a few days. I've been pretty busy lately and haven't had a chance to update. Blogging regularly definitely takes some discipline and commitment. That being said, I will try my best to keep up with this blog as long as I have readers. By the way, thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. You are too kind.

Ok, let's get on with today's thingamajig:

adds colour and crunch
to an everyday meal
and it's good for you!

What is it?

Have a wicked Wednesday!
