    It is a number 2 (I am guessing) Pencil end, near the eraser.

    It's the metal thingy that holds the eraser on a good old fashioned wooden pencil. I haven't used one of these in years...

    I know this! I only do not know its name...

    Its a thingamajig used to connect 2 hozes together (like at the back of your furnace)
