Hint: it's not food

Hello, again! Thanks for coming back! This is the second photo. I think it's an easy one.  I tried to pick something that is not so obscure. I'm pretty sure that you have seen one of these thingamajigs before. So take a good look and tell me what you think it is...

    Well everybody is saying microphone, and I do stand up, so I usually see them... I gotta agree it looks like a mic.

    But it also kinda looks like it could be a chain mail item, or perhaps even a hacky sack, It does look similar to an old one I had.
