Hint: it's heavy for its size

I had quite the scare last night. My oven caught on fire! I was baking pie when all of a sudden, a fire started. This has never happen to me before. I tried a new pie recipe and I guess it had too much grease in it.  I was thisclose to calling the firemen, when the fire put itself out. I was a bit traumatized and I think I will take a break from baking. And in case this ever happens to you, NEVER EVER pour water over a grease fire. It will make things worse. You are supposed to pour baking soda on it or put it lid on it. 


Anyways back to today's thingamajig. It's not a household item. This isn't even something I own. These are found outside and are made to last. Some of them are even thousands of years old. And they are usually custom made. They vary in size, shape and colour. What is it?

Happy Friday! The weekend forecast here is looking great. It's supposed to be nice and sunny!


Today's thingamajig might be a difficult one, especially if you aren't Asian. But even if you aren't Asian, you might have seen them in the stores.  If you can find them , they can be sold fresh or dried. I prefer fresh, but the dried version is still pretty good. China is a major producer of this thingamajig. And maybe for this reason alone, I should move to China. I love these thingamajigs! They are also grown in Korea, Japan, and Brazil. What is it?

Hey there! Hope you are enjoying your day so far. If you aren't haven't the best of days, I suggest eating some pie. I made a pear pie last night. If you like apple pie, you would love pear pie! Pears are so sweet, juicy and all around delicious! It's one of my favourite fruits. It so good that I had some for breakfast. It has fruit, so it must be good for you, right? ;)


Anyways, today's thingamajig can be made of different materials, including plastic, silicone, metal, and even wood! They come in different styles, sizes and colours. And like most things, if it's brand name, it will cost you an arm and a leg! But if you need one in a jiffy, you can pick one up at your local dollar store. Actually, besides the old and the rich, I'm not sure if anyone even buys these anymore. What is it?

Hello there! Hope you had a good day. I didn't drop by the fire hall yesterday, but I did go to the gym. I did some cardio and then I came home and ate some homemade chocolate ice cream. It kinda defeats the whole purpose of working out, but whatever. It's not like I need to lose weight. I need to gain weight! I'm actually underweight and I can't even donate blood because I'm way too small.

Happy Monday! Over the weekend, I got some work done around the house. I finally mowed my lawn.  Either I was extremely slow or the grass was way too long or a bit of both, but it took me close to two hours to get the job done.
