Photo of the day, #249

Hint: It's not celery
The name of this comes from Germany. It is especially common in Europe and parts of Asia. It is grown above ground. If you do see them in the stores, pick the smaller ones, as they are more tender and sweeter to eat. This can be cooked or eaten raw. What is it?
