Photo of the day, #203

Hint: It's banned in some places
Hey there! Is it still summer where you live? I don't know about you, but it's starting to feel like fall! The sun doesn't come out as much and it's cloudy most of the time. The nights are chilly. Anyways, enough of my whining.  Today's thingamajig is small, and could potentially be deadly. China is the top producer of this. What is it?

And on another note, I'm liking Blogger's new layout. It does take a bit of getting used to, but I like the clean, modern look.

Photo #202 Revealed

It was a carousel horse.

Hint: It's bigger than a puppy
Hope you are having a terrific Tuesday! Today's thingamajig is not something you would find inside or outside your home, unless you are eccentric and have a lot of money to burn. They come in many colours. What is it?

Photo #201 Revealed

It was an ice cream scoop.
Did I ever tell you how much I love ice cream? What's your favourite flavour?

Hint: You could find this in a kitchen
Well hello there! Hope your week is off to a great start! Today's thingamajig is made of stainless steel, but it could also be made of plastic. However, the stainless steel ones are more durable and are better. They seem to be used more often in the summer, but they can be used year round. What is it?

Photo #200 Revealed

It was lint.
It was lint from the dryer, but you didn't need to be that specific.

Hey you! It's my 200th photo! Yay me! I would also like to take the time to thank all of my loyal supporters. You know who you are! You really are the best-est! Yay you! Today's thingamajig is pretty much everywhere, but it's not something that you would think twice about. It's usually hiding somewhere.  It's soft and weighs practically nothing. What is it?

It's Usher Shirtless!

The mystery shirtless man was Usher!

You're welcome, ladies! ;)

Hint: It's usually rectangular in shape
Well hello there! Sorry I didn't post yesterday. But then again, did you even notice? ;) Anyways, it's so nice of you to visit me, when you can be outside soaking up the sun. Actually that's what you should be doing! Summer is just about over. Sad, but true. This is the last weekend of August. Go out and have some fun in the sun! But don't forget to wear sunscreen!

Today's thingamajig is a very common household item. Most people have at least one in their homes. I have four of them! They are handy to have around! And they are environmentally friendly. What is it?

For bonus points, guess who this is!

For all you ladies and some of you guys that missed this feature of my blog, today's your lucky day! Here's a bit of eye candy for you (and me!)!

And because I didn't post yesterday, I will reward you 3 bonus points for the correct answer!

Hints:

  • he's an entertainer
  • he's been on TV commercials and movies
  • he's a part owner of a NBA team
  • he is a daddy
So who is this sexy mystery man?

He will be revealed in tomorrow edition of "Shirtless Sunday."

Hint: This can be found indoors
Hey there! Today's thingamajig might have been used for spanking back in the day. Correct me if I'm wrong, but nowadays, parents don't usually spank their kids.  Kids do need discipline, but there is no need to use force. That being said, this is not a weapon. This is a very common household item. Some of you may even use this on a daily basis. What is it?

Photo #197 Revealed

It was a detergent measuring cup.

Photo of the day, #197

Hint: It comes in a box
Hi! Hope you having a great day so far! It's another hot summer day here where I live! I will have to stay in the shade and eat ice cream to stay cool. Today's thingamajig is made of plastic.   Most people would use this or something very similar at least once a week. What is it?

Photo #196 Revealed

It was deodorant.
Did you know sweating is good for your health? You may not smell all that great, but it will get rid of your toxins in your body and make you feel a whole lot better! It also cleans the pores on your skin to reduce acne. So maybe skip the deodorant once in awhile.

Hint: it's not a glue stick
Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to visit me. Today's thingamajig may look like a glue stick dial, but it's not. I don't photograph the same thing twice. This is something that is both females and males use regularly. But I'm a bit weird! I rarely use this. It's small enough to put in your purse/man bag and some people do carry one with them. What is it?

Photo #195 Revealed

It was a harmonica.
Anyone else own one?

Photo of the day, #195

Hint: was invented way back in the 19th century
Well, hello there! Fancy meeting you here! Hope y'all had a FUNtastic weekend! I know I did! Today's thingamajig is something that isn't a common household item.  It's one of those things I found in my garage when I was cleaning up a couple of weeks ago. This is item belonged to my dad. It was popular during his generation, I guess. I would say this has more sentimental value than monetary value. They are fairly inexpensive to purchase. What is this thingamajig?

Photo #194 Revealed

It was a hair blow dryer.
For high maintenance girls and guys.

Hey you!! Today's a hot one!! There will be shirtless guys around, that's for sure. Speaking of shirtless guys, it's been awhile since I've posted a shirtless guy for all the ladies to drool over. And it's time I posted something for the ladies! Be sure to check out today's shirtless man!

Anyways, today's thingamajig is something that females would use more often than men. That being said, I own one, but I hardly ever use it. This one is red, but they come in other colours. What is it?

It's Chris Evans Shirtless!

Image from Google.
You may have seen this sexy man in the movies "Captain America" and "Fantastic Four."
Update: You can also see him in the new "Avengers" movie.

HInt: It's not candy
Hey you! How's it going? Hope you aren't spending your whole weekend in front of the computer! There aren't too many summer weekends left. Go out and enjoy the sun. Have an ice cream or two. Go to the beach. Have a picnic! You get the idea. Anyways, today's thingamajig can be used indoors or outdoors. This is a very common household item. Most people own at least one of these.  They come in other colours, but orange is quite popular (where I'm from anyways). What is it?

Photo #192 Revealed

It was a glue stick.
This one is white, but there are blue ones that dries clear.

Hey there! Is it Friday already?!? How fast the week went by! Today's thingamajig is something you will be seeing a lot more of in the stores in the next couple of weeks. This is popular with children and some adults because it is easy to use and doesn't make a huge mess. What is it?

Have a super weekend!

Well hello, again! How kind you are to drop by. Today's thingamajig can be quite heavy; I have seen photos of ones weighing over 250 pounds! That's like 3 of me! However, the ones that are for sale are quite manageable and even as little as I am, I can carry it! What do you think it is?

Photo #190 Revealed

It was a nectarine.
But if you said peach, that's close enough! I like to think of nectarines as shaved peaches.

Wednesday, August 17, 2011

Photo of the day, #190

Hint: This is the inside of the thingamajig
Hey there! Anyone else notice that it is getting darker earlier than usual? I don't want to say this, but it's a sign that summer is just about over. This summer sure went by fast and before we know it, the leaves will be falling. Anyways, today's thingamajig is partly edible. The part that is not edible can potentially be hazardous to our health.  It is also popular this time of the year. What do you think it is?

Photo #189 Revealed

It was a staple gun.
I must say that I am impressed with those of you that got it right since I only gave one little hint. Great job! And for those that didn't get it right, that's ok. It's just a game.

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a fun filled weekend. Did you do anything worth mentioning? I was cleaning out my garage and I found a really nice old school film camera! When I get some batteries and film and I'm going to play with my new toy! I know it's not new, but it's new to me! Anyways, today's thingamajig is still very popular even after 30 years since its invention. It appeals to both adults and kids. This has also been featured in the Guinness Book of Records. What is it?

Photo #187 Revealed

It was a tennis ball.

Hey there! Hope you are having a sunny Sunday! Today's thingamajig is way too easy so I'm not giving any hints. So what is it?

For those of you that enjoy a good challenge, don't worry. I will be posting much more difficult ones this coming week!

Hint: homemade is better than store bought
Well hello there! Nice of you to visit me! Hope you are having a good day so far!  Today's thingamajig is an easy one, if I do say so myself. You don't need any other clues. But if you do, continue reading. They are usually round in shape. If you drop them, they would break easily. What is it?

Photo #185 Revealed

It was a flat iron.
For straightening your hair, not for ironing clothes... ;)

Friday, August 12, 2011

Photo of the day, #185

Hint: You may find this in a bathroom
It's Friday! It's another hot one today! Another great day for ice cream! But then again, ice cream is good every day, even if it's not hot out. Anyways today's thingamajig needs to be plugged in for it to work. It also comes in other colours. Most females own one of these. What is it?

Photo #184 Revealed

It was grapefruit.
Since I'm in a good mood, I will give those that guessed some kind of citrus 1 point. And for those smarty pants that guessed grapefruit, you will each get 2 points!

Boys will be boys...

Hint: It grows on trees
Hey there! Hope you are having a good day so far. So it looks like most of you enjoy reading my blog posts. So I guess I will continue writing here, even if it doesn't always makes sense to you.   Anyways, today's thingamajig is an easy one! You shouldn't need any more hints, but if you do continue reading. It's popular during breakfast time, but you can have this anytime of the day. In fact, there was a diet based on this. Apparently eating this during mealtimes, is supposed to help you lose weight. What is it?

Photo #183 Revealed

It was a steel measuring tape.
p.s size doesn't matter! ;)

Photo of the day, #183

Hint: before making a big purchase, you should use this first
Hey everyone! Is it Wednesday already? I was thinking of making this photo blog. Instead of writing stuff in this area that most of you don't even read, I would just post the photo of the day and give one hint, like today.  I'm not much of a writer anyways. And my motto has always been less is more. What do you think? You can vote in the new poll I've put up.

Photo #182 Revealed

It was a meat tenderizer.

Photo of they day, #182

Hint: it's a type of tool
Hey there! Hope you are having a terrific Tuesday so far! Today's thingamajig can be made of metal, like in the photo or it could be made of wood. It is a hand-powered tool, which means it doesn't need to be plugged in. It is also smaller than a hammer. What is it?

Photo #181 Revealed

It was a box cutter/utility knife/retractable knife.

Monday, August 8, 2011

Photo of the day, #181

Hint: it's not a toy or for kids
Hey there! It's a hot one today! It's a good day for ice-cream. I think I will make some ice cream later! Anyways, today's thingamajig can be found at the dollar store. I think that's where I got mine. If you work in a big box store or supermarket, you probably use this frequently. It comes in other colours. What is it?
