Hi there! It's one month into 2012. How are those new year's resolutions coming along? Did you even make resolutions? Were you of those numerous people who resolved to lose weight, eat better and exercise more in the new year? Well, not me! Just like every other year, I resolved to gain weight (I'm quite small). I've been eating and exercising regularly, but I don't think I have gained any extra pounds yet. Maybe I need to include ice cream in my daily diet! Dairy is a good source of calcium and vitamin D, which are both important for strong, healthy bones!

Hint: a cure for boredom?

Hello!? Anyone out there? I'm don't know if I'm having a manic Monday or what, but I'm having some second thoughts about this blog. I wonder if I should continue this blog. I remember when I first started this blog, I was excited about the possibilities of "making it big" or at least getting a lot of visitors. I thought that my blog was fun, unique and there isn't anything quite like it. I thought my blog would even go viral! I'm a bit of a dreamer. Originally, I decided to post daily because it would generate more hits and return visits. But it hasn't been the case. I'm only at 326 followers and my view count is nothing to brag about. It's kinda sad because many blogs get that many followers and views within a few months..


I do enjoy blogging, but I guess I don't have the same passion/excitement as I once did. Do any of you long time bloggers feel the same way? That being said, to my die-hard loyal followers (you know who you are!),  I'm not disappearing from cyberspace just yet. You are the reason I am still blogging today! Please continue to visit me.  I will continue with this blog for now. There are tons of thingamajigs that I have yet to photograph.

It's a Chinese New Year tradition for families (specifically, married couples) to give these lucky red envelopes filled with money to their children. I'm not a kid any more, but I still get them! Lucky me, right? When and if I ever do get married, I will get to give these out!

Well hey there! Sorry I didn't post yesterday. I was having a bad day. I was feeling grumpy like Grumpy Bear from Care Bears. Remember the Care Bears? It was one of my favourite shows back in the day. If you don't know who the Care Bears are, you are missing out! It was one of the best cartoons from the 1980s. Hi everyone! Hope you all had a fantastic weekend! Happy New Year to those of you who follow the Lunar calendar. I wish you peace, love and happiness! This is the year of the dragon, which is supposed to be a year for good fortune! Maybe this year I will become rich and famous! LOL! Hope you are having a good day so far. I'm dreaming of a winter vacation right about now. It's so freaking cold out today!! It's like -40degrees with the wind chill! And the weather will be like this until the end of the week. I want to hibernate like the bears do in winter. I will re-emerge when spring arrives...but I don't think I have enough fat to keep me alive during the next few months...

Well hello there! Fancy meeting you here! Hope all is well with you. I'm a bit sore from working out. But I take that as a good sign that I am working those muscles! Maybe I should reward myself with some chocolate. I know it defeats the whole purpose of exercising, but a piece of chocolate a day keeps the doctor away. It's true!
