Photo of the day, #271

Hint: it likes water
Hey there! Did you miss me? I didn't post yesterday because I was having some computer issues. You can say my computer was playing tricks on me! Anyways, hope you all had a fun filled Halloween! In case you were wondering, I dressed up as Poison Ivy. And no, I don't have any photos to share. It's not that kind of blog.

Anyways, Happy Two-sday! The first thingamajig of the day is edible when cooked.  It can be steamed, boiled, or fried. It is popular in African and Asian cuisines. It is one of the few crops that can grow under flooded conditions. What is it?

10 Comments:

  1. At first I thought it was like tofu or tempeh or something. But tbh... I'm not too sure. So that's just random guessing cus it doesn't really look like tofu or tempeh.

  2. From your hint, it sounds like it could be rice, but the photo looks like nothing I can recognize at all.

  3. It likes water? It looks like meat though. Like beef. Beef? I'm gonna get this one wrong.

Also, Poison Ivy. Batman reference. Nice.

  4. I'd say it is a tree but that's obviously not the answer.
