Well, hello there! Hope you all had a better weekend than me. I spent most of mine shovelling snow from my sidewalk and driveway. It was snow fun, but someone had to do it. But now I have a cold. My nose is all runny and red. There's a tickle in my throat. I feel gross. I just want to stay in bed all day, watch sappy chick flicks and drink hot lemon-honey tea. What comforts you when you are sick?

It's Friday! Fry-day!?! An excuse to eat something deep fried? You know you want to. I kinda have a craving for some sweet potato fries! It might even make me forget about how cold it is here. It looks like winter is here a little while longer. There is a snowfall warning. We are supposed to get a ton of snow in the next few days. After all the warm, nice, spring-like weather we have been having, I was hoping spring would come early. But hey, where I live, the weather is always unpredictable...but it's a good conversation starter! A pick-up line, perhaps? ;)

Well hey there! Happy Friday! Hope you all had a good week! I don't know about you, but it will be a long weekend for me! It will be Family Day on Monday for some of us lucky Canadians. It's not a national holiday, as not all provinces observe this holiday. It's too bad, as I do think that it should  be a national holiday. Family values are important and we do need the extra day off. People are always so busy with work and concerned with making money that they sacrifice time with their loved ones. You know what they say about all work and no play!

Well, hello there! Hope you had a fun filled weekend! I had a pretty good weekend. I spent yesterday eating home-made chocolate chip cookies and making valentines! Speaking of valentines, tomorrow is the most romantic day of the year! Do you have any plans?  I might go see "The Vow," the movie with cutie pie Rachel McAdams. I don't care if it's going to be a cheesy movie. I love cheese! And I heard that Channing Tatum takes off more than his shirt!! ;)

Well, hello there! Hope you are having a good day so far, wherever you are! So Valentine's Day is fast approaching! Is this a holiday you like to celebrate? I admit, it's a highly commercialized holiday, but I still think it's the most romantic time of the year! I can't help it. I'm a girl and a bit of hopeless romantic. I get all sappy upon hearing a good love story, like Prince William and his princess Kate's! They seem very happy together! Isn't true love grand?

Well, hey there! Yay, it's the weekend! Hope you are doing well! I'm having a pretty good day. I finally received a cheque from Google AdSense. It's not much, but it's enough to buy me a new bag or pair of new shoes. With this spring like weather we have been having here, I feel like shopping! But shopping for clothes isn't easy for me. Hey there! It's February 2nd! Happy Groundhog day! For those that don't know, Groundhog day is an American and Canadian holiday. People gather around a groundhog's burrow to see whether or not Spring will come early. If it's cloudy and the groundhog comes out of his burrow, spring will arrive early. If it's sunny and the groundhog sees his shadow, he will go back to his burrow and winter will last another 6 more weeks. I'm hoping that Spring will come early. I can't wait to start gardening again!
