Photo of the day, #370

Hint: it was especially popular during the medieval times
Well, hello, Monday!! The weekend sure went by fast! Where does all the time go? How many are still hungover from all the St. Paddy's day drinking?? Not me. I don't drink. I'm more of a green tea than a "green beer" drinker. I don't need a drink to have a good time. I'm quite entertaining as is! But enough about me.

Here's the haiku hint for today's thingamajig:

it's part of my past
something I was taught in school
and what about you?

What is it?

  1. A recorder! Most likely an alto recorder - that's what we learned in school anyway. :)

  2. These are the holes on a recorder. I used to be a professional flutist, and you'd need to know how to play the recorder as well. :)

  4. I'm going to say it's a recorder, but I don't remember it having the double hole.

I don't need a drink to have a good time either, but it's a different experience and I enjoy it.

That is definitely the recorder instrument. XD I still have mines somewhere lying around. The numbers of xD ear drums I made bleed from playing that thing! Were you any good Miss Shutterbug?

I remember learning it in elementary school, and to this day I can't stand the shrill sound it makes.

  16. Wait medieval times? Did they use recorders then? o_o... Could it possibly be a flute? >.>;... .._. I still say a recorder, though! >_<

  17. I think it's part of some flute. When I thinkof flutes, I think of teachers who didn't know how to use it properly :) I agree you don't need beer to have fun. I'm sure my friend Dwei would agree. He gives his girlfriend a happy meal.
